Bidding and Eligibility

Who are eligible for bidding?
All agencies / clients who are authorized by Social Media India Ltd (SMIL) are eligible for bidding on SMX.

How can we participate in bidding?
Fill in the registration form online, download terms and conditions and mail to us. The hard copy of the Registration form along with terms and conditions duly stamped & signed by authorized signatory of agency / client should be sent to the nearest SMIL branch.

Once the duly filled form is received, SMX will scrutinize your application, and if approved, will provide you with user ID & Password facilitating bidding through Internet.

What happens in case of tie (same amount quoted by two agencies?)
The allotment is on first quote first served basis. The number of package units quoted also act as filter parameter in case of tie.

Are the rates quoted by me accessible to others?
No. Strict confidentiality is maintained.

Will the site be open throughout the month for bidding?
The portal is open for registration throughout the month. However, the packages for bidding are open for a specific period.

Will there be packages for bidding every month?
Depending on the provision for inventory the number of packages/units may vary each month.
